Kalaklan Candles is an initiative at expanding the aims and purposes of the Kalaklan Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative. The Intent was to supply local candle needs of the parishes in the Diocese of Iba. In the course of making ordinary candles, A creative display of talent led to the making of wax lamps. From current hurricane and solid pillar candles available in the market, none compares to our art deco lamps. This significant innovation is our humble contribution in the handicraft trade. For now, what impels us is the satisfaction of the lingering appreciation of zen-colors never before seen in other lumina products. The inner glow of Kalaklan Art Deco Lamps is a wonder to behold - as color has its therapeutic effects.
It was in 1984, when Ma. Elena “Lelen” Tabora first marketed bottled tuyo (herring fish) fillets through Kalipayan Products. She was considered as the inventor of this famous "Gourmet Tuyo". Some have imitated this but the credit remains to Ms. Tabora who hailed from Bacolod City in the province of Negros Occidental .
After the transformation of the common breakfast food of an ordinary Filipino family, today it is now being serve on the tables of various five star hotels and restaurants as an ingredients on pasta recipes and salads.
A genuine Gourmet Tuyo can be distinguish through this characteristics: it is soak in a corn oil and seasoned with garlic and vinegar to get the aromatic salty-sour taste. Fillet herring should be neatly deboned, scaled, and arranged carefully.

The Dayawan Handmade Paper is a livelihood project of the San Roque Handmade Paper Products Multi-Purpose Cooperative, a non-stock, non-profit organization in the municipality of Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. It is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Cooperative Development Authority.
Popularly known by its short name San Roque Handmade Paper, the group is composed of 32 families organized by the Couples for Christ (CFC) under the auspices of the Gawad Kalinga (GK) program. It is supported by the STEAG State Power Inc. (SPI), the government of Villanueva and Phividec Industrial Authority (PIA).
The raw material of handmade paper made by San Roque Handmade Paper is fiber from abaca (Musa textiles). Abaca is a species of banana native to the Philippines. Its fiber is originally used for making twine and ropes.

Domesticity is a manufacturing company offering gift items, housewares and packaging made of pandan and other materials. The company was started in April of 2002. It is located in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, two hours away from Bacolod City. Domesticity was started by Mariel Lacson San Agustin. The owner used to be the merchandising manager for local goods for a home retail store in Manila. She employs wives and family members of sugar laborers who have been working for the family business for several years. She now has a total of 40 employees and the rest are sub contractors.
Domesticity manufactures bags, photo albums, bathroom accessories and storage boxes. The products are accessorized by ceramics, fabrics, resins , shells and other materials. It aims to produce handicrafts that have a unique and modern look. Some of its designs serve as conversation pieces in every home.
From baskets the range of products seven hundred mini furniture, bud houses, tin mating cans, trap and candleholders. At present, the main products of Darala Crafts are tin lightness, shell balls and shell candleholders, photo frames & mirrors decorated with shells. Its main markets are the U.S.A, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, France, Denmarks and other European countries.
