The purpose is to promote social justice and fairness in trade and help exploited people, reduce poverty, strive to end trafficking of persons, sex slavery, child labor and help the poorest and neediest in society. Producers and indigenous people are empowered to help themselves through participation, self-organization and decision-making to improve their own lives and that of their families.

Preda Fair Trade is officially registered as The Limited Liability Partnership of ProFairtrade Development Agency SC LTD. CO. It financially supports the social development and human rights work of the People’s Recovery, Empowerment, & Development Assistance (P.R.E.D.A) Foundation.
