ITALKARAT 18, Inc. acquired its distinct name when a group of Italian and Filipino entrepreneurs started the manufacturing of Italian 18 karat gold jewelry in 1989.
The company has continued to grow since its inception; and in 1993 it became 100% Filipino- owned as it expanded and diversified its product lines from antique giftware reproductions to home accessories and corporate give-aways.

One of ITALKARAT 18’s core processes is investment casting, also known as lost-wax casting; this is used to produce the most intricate metal components that goes into the design of the product – from a simple hinge to a miniature iguana.

Still going strong on its 20th year, ITALKARAT 18 continues to manufacture with great care and detail metal components and accessories for furniture, picture frames, jewelry boxes, lamps, novelty items, desktop accessories, plaques and corporate awards. These different metal components also incorporate various media like wood, metal, indigenous materials, genuine leather, high grade veneer and different kinds of shell. The unique presentations are further enhanced by beautiful accents of silver, white metal or brass.
