Philippine Made Lahar Frame

After two decades of struggle from the catastrophic eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991, the province of Pampanga and nearby places that surround the areas have simultaneously recovered. They turn this misfortune into grace. A profitable handicraft was created and beneficial to the people. This is the reason why Mr. Sonny Osi had established Excell Frames and Decors, an earth friendly livelihood.

The mud flow ashes is mixed with a binder and resin chemical. Worker will pour it into mouldings and let it dry. Finishing touches also follow.

Excell Frames and Decors is utilizing the Filipino ingenuity and creativity by making Victorian inspired products such as frames, jewelry boxes, religious icons, candle holders and decors made from volcanic ash.

Today, the company is exporting to Europe and some part of western countries. They even garnered prestigious awards like the 25th Arch of Europe Award, 19th International Quality Summit Award, 27th International Platinum Star Awardee f or Quality and CC 100 TQM Compromiso Calidad Cien. This makes them the only Philippine company that have those awards.
