The word
"Dulo" originally came from the Tagalog word for
"Point" and the first Dulo-Dulo's were made from deer antlers.
Kamagong (and sometimes Carabao horn) was then used as a substitute due to the scarcity of the antlers. This items are waxed (not varnished) finish to improve grip.
