Initially started as a company that manufactures garments for babies in 1989 – doing orders mainly for Australia, Europe and the United States of America until 1995,
Kardelle Industries, Inc. shifted into a company that designs and manufactures Christmas ornaments in order to survive the time when the garments exportation industry in the Philippines began to go on a downswing.
Since the reception for the ornaments was good, expansion of products was inevitable. It added Christmas trees and other decors to its product line and moved on to produce an all-season collection for the home using all natural materials as embellishments. It was such a hit – mostly in the United States of America. Hong Kong, Europe and in the Middle East countries, earning substantial yet very significant amounts during the years 1998 to 2004 amidst the gloomy export situation.
In 2006, Kardelle decided to shift its focus once again to the production of Christmas decors and ornaments as new materials and styling came in with the times. At present, the company continually upgrades its designs, develops new ideas and comes up with distinct collections in order to penetrate a wider audience in the international arena while staying true to its mission – which is to showcase Pinoy artistry and creativity at its finest.
Recently, the company has begun to offer selected products to the local Philippine market in order to share and let them be kept abreast with what Kardelle continues to offer.
